Author Biography
John Shewey is an Oregon-based naturalist, photographer, writer, and editor whose works include The Hummingbird Handbook, The Owl Handbook, Birds of the Pacific Northwest, Classic Steelhead Flies, and Oregon Beaches: A Traveler's Companion. John is also the longtime editor of American Fly Fishing magazine and a dedicated desert rat who has left boot prints in the Northern Great Basin's most remote places.
