Author Biography
Michael Stone's career has been in building and remodeling, starting as a "gofer" in my father's construction business. I held a plumbing supervisor's license, then moved into sales and then management, running my own remodeling business for many years. That's when I first drafted the book "Markup and Profit." I've coached many contractors and taught business management, sales and estimating classes throughout the U.S. and in Canada.
