Author Biography

Douglas Bukowski is a Chicago writer and historian whose other books include Big Bill Thompson, Baseball Palace of the World, and, most recently, Pictures of Home. He has written for the Chicago Tribune and has taught American history at the University of Illinois at Chicago, Roosevelt University, and St. Xavier College. He lives in Chicago.
